“You have to do what is right for yourself, nobody else is walking on your shoes.” – unknown
These two links above are my other blogs, where I have other bloggers visiting me from time to time. Now I am doing this third one just to keep a journal of my trials and errors in sketching.
I had a stroke when I was 59 years old, about 4 years ago. So very grateful that it wasn’t very bad, but I lost my memory and I had to crawl back to remember stuff. (I guess it was the stroke combined with Old age huh) But to cut the story short … I never went back to work and now I am a full fledged retired senior. (ouch…hard to hear).
That made me think of doing what I love doing. I am not very good at it, but I enjoy doing it. (that is what matters, right?) I loved to travel and that was before this pandemic so I sketched some of my travel photos to remind me of happier time. And just recently I saw this Urban Sketching course online and that is what’s taking most of my time now, aside from blogging of course.
My eldest son is in London and my daughter lives on her own…I am making this journal for myself, as well as for them so that when I am gone (hopefully not very soon tho) they will see what their mum is up to. (at least they won’t say that I am just sitting lazily at home).
But if by chance you are seeing this then …
WELCOME to my attempts on Sketching and Urban Sketching !
